I have to admit, I am obsessed with the latest floral crown trend. There are so many gorgeous pictures on Pinterest of models wearing beautiful halos, and I went on a search to find one myself. I was disappointed to find that Etsy didn't have a whole lot of options that I was too thrilled about. I had something specific in mind, and the options just weren't lining up. So I decided I would search around local florists and see if I could get one custom made.
The shop I found was AMAZING (Tricia Barksdale Designs),but was overbooked with the upcoming prom and Mother's Day orders so I wasn't able to order one after all. Bummer! I decided to buy some of their beautiful silk flowers instead, because they had a really great selection that were very natural looking and I just couldn't resist. I told them that I would try to make my own, and the owner was kind enough to teach me how to make the halo itself (thank goodness!).
I spent that weekend making crown after crown, and had so much fun coming up with new ideas and seeing them turn out so pretty. I LOVE flowers. Fake, fresh, doesn't matter. They can be so beautiful either way! I think they turned out awesome, and I was absolutely blown away to see how well they photographed on these gorgeous girls.
These floral crowns are now for sale on my Etsy page: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RedeemedHearts
*The prices range. The crowns with the specialty silk flowers are more pricey due to the cost of the actual flowers. These would be beautiful for bridals, photo shoots, special days, or any occasion you choose!
