Here's where I came in: Delyn asked me if I wanted to tag along. At first I said no, because I didn't want to get in the way or seem like an awkward fangirl, but I quickly realized that I would be silly not to go-- a practicing photographer like myself can't turn down working with well versed models; they make life so much easier. So we packed our gear and headed out for a fun Saturday morning.
As we waited for the couple to arrive, I told Delyn not to get upset if I decided not to pull my camera out during the shoot. I always get a bit awkward and nervous about how people will react to me tagging along. But once I met Hannah and Shay and chatted while Hannah showed us her wardrobe for the morning (LOVE) I felt comfortable that it would be alright to snap some extra shots, just for fun. Delyn set Hannah up for some solo shots at the first location, and I instantly pulled out my camera.
Hannah is an allstar. I really don't think it's possible to take a bad set of photos of this girl. She radiates beauty, and has the sweetest demeanor. Shay jumped in at our second location, and it was a blast. You could tell they were having fun and enjoying each others company. I was able to get some cute candid shots of the two as a second shooter, but the best shots were definitely taken by my husband. Check out his lead shooting (and obviously professional) prospective on the link to his blog. My favorite thing about multiple photographers is the range of photos you open the possibilities to-- different angles, different perspectives, different lenses-- it can all make such a difference.
A huge thank you to Hannah, Shay, and Delyn for letting me tag along and enjoy this shoot!
