For a few weeks now, Delyn and I have been tightly holding on to the news that after only three months in the corporate world I decided to quit my job. That's right... I left the job that a few months ago I was elated to begin. But last week we experienced a pretty spiritual and emotional moment, as we stood hand in hand during worship and belted out the lyrics to "You Make Me Brave" considering the weight of the decision we made and the faith in believing that this will lead us to greater joy and fulfilment. Until I can adequately sit down and type out the details of why the past few months have been so difficult, I am going to keep this post brief. We are confident that this decision aligns with the Lord's plans for our family, and that it was purposed for this opportunity to arise at the exact time it did. To say I've struggled with doubt over the past few difficult months would be an understatement, but what I was reminded of is that God is always for us, and not against us. Even in the tough times. Even when blessings start to feel like letdowns. I'd love to share that story with you, and give you an unfiltered look at what went into this decision soon. But for now, know that we have closed the door to my corporate job, and have opened the door to a job that I believe was divinely appointed. I'm excited to announce that I'll be working with Elysian in downtown Bentonville, joining the team as their Content Creator. This is truly a job that I never believe could exist for me, and I'm wholeheartedly humbled that they are welcoming me to their brand. I'm relieved to finally be able to share this big news with everyone, and more than excited about everything on the horizon!! Stay tuned!
